✨ HighlightAn exceptional fine dining experience at The Frog in Covent Garden. The extensive tasting menu of 13-15 courses (it was that much that I don’t remember 😃) some photos attached. It was thoughtfully paired with about 7 different wines, creating a memorable culinary journey. Each dish demonstrated precise execution and creativity, while the wine pairings complemented the courses perfectly. Though securing a reservation requires planning ahead (approximately 2 months in advance), the wait is absolutely worth it. This is truly a special occasion restaurant that delivers a remarkable dining experience. Tip for future diners: Be sure to plan well in advance for your reservation. The restaurant's popularity is a testament to its quality. Highly recommend! Thank you Adam Handling!→

✨ HighlightFood was nice but lacking in a bit of substance. There were two prawns in a £36 bowl of pasta and two meatballs in my partners pasta. Service was virtually non-existent and we had to flag our waiter for drinks and they remove the drinks menu each time. They tried to remove my starter which was not finished when they brought our mains and one of the dishes was chipped. Atmosphere is lovely but I wouldn’t return and don’t rate the value for money aspect.→

✨ HighlightAn overhyped restaurant that is overpriced with average food, average service and average decor. You’d go once and never return. The chicken skins were small portion and shockingly cold when they arrived. I asked and they told me, it was cooked previously and served cold. So I sent it back. Cold chicken skin - unbelievable. The corn fritters were hot and freshly made but bland. Good portion but the chilli sauce was straight from a bottle. Not worth £8. The glass noodles (vermicelli) were nice but tiny portion with so little chicken. Not worth the £14 price. Half a pint of Singha was quite pricey. Toilet was shocking and seat was broken. Don’t believe the hype. Avoid→

✨ HighlightAn unforgettable experience that transcends dining—it’s a journey for the senses and the soul. Evelyn’s Table is more than a Michelin-starred restaurant; it’s a place where food becomes art, and emotions take center stage. One particular dessert, with its delicate white chocolate notes, transported me straight back to my childhood—a testament to the power of culinary storytelling. The wine pairings were equally extraordinary—each glass came with its own story, like a captivating bedtime tale for adults, perfectly complementing the meal. The open kitchen adds to the magic. Watching the chefs work in seamless harmony, creating dishes with such finesse and without a sound, is nothing short of mesmerizing. The waitstaff are equally remarkable—attentive, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring you feel utterly pampered. We floated on a cloud the entire evening, completely immersed in the experience. Really cozy as you walk in, there are no many tables and there is a more than decent space between them which helps maintain the relaxed atmosphere. The food is just fabulous, we loved every single dish from the tasting menu. The service is also great, and the chefs bring you each dish and explain what you are about to taste. The best part, apparently the menu changes completely every few weeks, allowing you to have something different every time you come. ✨ HighlightI recently traveled throughout Europe for 14 days and I can definitively say that my experience at Fallow was the best meal of my entire trip. First of all, I walked in and was able to not only check my coat and bags but I was also seated promptly at the bar even though the restaurant was quite busy. Traveling alone, I usually try to chat with the staff and they were all so gracious and friendly, giving me recommendations on places to try, things to eat, and more. Such a pleasant group of people!! Toby, my server provided me with amazing insight into the menu and gave me advice on how much to order. He was super attentive and even got me extra gravy! I had the sourdough and butter starter - I’m a Sourdough snob and this was TOP TIER. It was my first time having Sunday roast and I’m pretty sure it’s been ruined for me forever. Every single bite was DIVINE. I love venison and this was bar-none, the best, most tender and flavorful venison I have ever had. Honestly, I would have drank the gravy. The parsnips were perfectly sweet, the cabbage and greens perfectly seasoned and the potatoes so crunchy and fluffy at the same time. Every single bite had me doing a little happy dance. I would literally fly back to London for this meal - it was that good. Thank you, Fallow, for an unforgettable dining experience!!!→

✨ HighlightNever in my life! My friend suggested we try Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant. It’s not something I would usually do as it’s not really my scene, but I was absolutely blown away. The food, oh my goodness, the food was absolutely incredible! A 9-course menu, and yes, the portions are small, but with so many courses, it ends up being a lot of food. The dishes were outstanding. My favorites were the cappuccino soup to start, the salad (the best I’ve ever eaten in my life, I wish I could recreate it at home), the cheese bites, the langoustine ravioli, and the dessert, wow, wow, wow! The only course I didn’t love was the fish, which I found a bit bland. The service was next level. The crockery and cutlery is also absolutely beautiful. Having worked in restaurants in my youth, I can say the service here was on a completely different scale. Absolutely flawless, well done to the team! The atmosphere, however, felt a bit stuffy. It seemed like people were too focused on sitting upright and maintaining appearances rather than fully enjoying themselves. It’s a shame because it slightly took away from such a lovely experience. Overall, it was an amazing experience and absolutely worth the investment.→

✨ HighlightThis was our first time experiencing Nigerian food and we really enjoyed it! The dishes on the menu are varied, flavourful and well explained for someone who is not very familiar with the cuisine. Our favourite dishes were the jollof rice, meatballs and prawns. We also loved the chin chin cheesecake. I showed my Nigerian friend the dishes after visiting and she said they are not authentic but are more inspired by authentic dishes. ✨ HighlightService was excellent, very attentive and fast most of the time we spent there. The food was overall very good, although we did have the steak where they didn’t ask how we wanted it cooked, I also forgot to mention when ordering, then we waited around 25 minutes for an almost cold and rare steak which was a little bit of a party killer, but the 4 other dishes we tried were excellent. And no one told us the kitchen would close at 15:30 so that was a bit of a surprise. The place was full and the open kitchen makes the atmosphere amazing, although if you sit right under the kitchen window in the dining room, you do get scared they will accidentally drop something on you when they, almost, throw the bowls they use for cooking around. Overall very good and I would love to give their dinner menu a try as well.→

✨ HighlightUnbelievably good omakase sushi experience, comparable to dining in Japan. The specialty of Maru is aged ingredients, and the fact that they source and process them locally makes for a fantastic blend of UK/European and Japanese approaches. Above all, the cooking and service team are absolute stars - approachable, friendly, funny, yet dead serious about their craft. ✨ HighlightIt’s alright- the ambiance was lovely but there was much left to be desired beyond that. The food was alright but I have definitely tasted better… It took an age for our food to arrive (we saw people who came after us and order after us, get served before us). On the plus side, after complaining, we were given a complimentary side dish (but also nothing to write home about- so much so, that for the life of me, I don’t remember what it was- the gesture is what made me rate it as a 3). The food was overpriced for the portion size (and the taste). When I mentioned that to our waiter- he replied in his Italian accent that “because the food is vegan” 😂😂(he quickly divulged that he was not vegan). Drinks were ok but also nothing special. All in all, I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to come back. So much potential but was well below my expectations. A bit of a downer for a birthday dinner but never mind, there are plenty of great vegan spots in London- this is just not one of them…→

✨ HighlightA cool setting, but the restaurant fails to live up to its own hype. The decor (especially in the toilets) is stunning, in a kind of garish but fun way. This and the prices made us expect a luxury experience, but that's not what we got. On arrival we had to wait for a while in a queue even though we had a booking. We got a white wine and a red wine which were both too warm. The food was tasty, but my dish (the mushroom pasta) was too cold. The waiters' uniforms/costumes looked quite cheap and silly. In general the restaurant felt way too busy and chaotic. Overall i'd say don't come expecting luxury. Just come if the idea of the interior design excites you.→

✨ HighlightThe viral Crisp pizza - worth the hype or overrated? This will hardly be the location for a spontaneous dinner out: you must book your spots in advance because they have limited pizza bases each night. They reserve some for walk-ins, but if you’re going on a sunny evening or weekday, you’d want to head there before 4pm because it’s first come first served and there can be a long queue. We booked but it doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a table, just the pizza. It’s a small pub, so you may be waiting for a table or people often perch on the pavement. Takes about 30-50 minutes for the pizza to come out, depending on if you arrive peak time. But it was worth the wait! Pizza was SO crisp and fresh, they allow flexibility with toppings. No vegan cheese but I got a marinara with added mushrooms and hot honey and I licked the plate clean - means a lot from me, I’m normally a pasta gal. Their hot garlic dip isn’t vegan but my friends were obsessed. Service super friendly but only one server on a busy night. Oh and it’s by the Hammersmith riverside so can walk the pizza off with a lovely evening river breeze after! 10/10 worth the hype.→
