From the moment I walked in, the space felt elegant but still super inviting, with all the natural light coming through those huge glass windows. Walking up the iconic staircase to my table really set the vibe for something special. The service was on point; really friendly and attentive but not over the top. For the quality of food and the whole experience, I’d say it was well worth it. If you’re looking for a fancy but relaxed breakfast spot in London, this is it. Whether you’re into Michelin-starred dining or just want to treat yourself, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!
Had an intimate wedding dinner in a private room (reading room). Thoughtful and whimsical decor. The staff was exceptional! Not only in knowledge of what they were doing, also very personal and authentic. THATS what you need in a great service team! Food was excellent as well, as expected from a Michelin Restaurant, but the service was what makes you feel at home. Thank you ♥️
Recommended by my Nephew I decided to try out during a last minute shopping spree before Christmas. Managed to get in without a reservation which was pleasing after running around the shops. The breakfast dishes were very good, high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. It’s a high quality fry up 🤣 Worth a visit next time you’re in London, just a stones throw from Green Park tube and 5 min walk from Piccadilly Circus.
The restaurant is functionally appointed with the main focus being on the unusual yet beautiful exotic wood staircase. The oysters I was served were intensely flavored; however, 2 of the 6 were gritty from poor cleaning. Our two mains were venison and trout. Unfortunately, the venison was chewy and small in portion after the fat was removed. The trout was perfectly cooked, presented well and consequently shared with my spouse. In summary, the restaurant is more appropriate for business lunches than fine dining.
