This was our first time experiencing Nigerian food and we really enjoyed it! The dishes on the menu are varied, flavourful and well explained for someone who is not very familiar with the cuisine. Our favourite dishes were the jollof rice, meatballs and prawns. We also loved the chin chin cheesecake. I showed my Nigerian friend the dishes after visiting and she said they are not authentic but are more inspired by authentic dishes. I think it’s a really good introduction to a rich and flavourful cuisine. This made us excited to try more Nigerian restaurants.
The food was amazing, I really loved how creative the traditional Nigerian cuisine was, it was a truly one of a kind experience. The waiter seemed like she didn’t want to be there that day though, she wasn’t rude or anything just didn’t have any energy. The decor was nice we went on a Sunday afternoon so it was quiet. Would 100% recommend and will be back.
excellent and distinct tapas - a whole range of flavours from the spicy to the sweet and all dishes are distinct and of high quality including more standard dishes like the meatballs. The drinks were distinctly nigerian as well - exceptionally friendly service. good portions. first taste of nigerian food and not the last
The food was average at best and not particularly flavoursome, nothing to write home about. Staff was nice and attentive. It’s ok to try it once but not good enough for a return visit.
