An unforgettable experience that transcends dining—it’s a journey for the senses and the soul. Evelyn’s Table is more than a Michelin-starred restaurant; it’s a place where food becomes art, and emotions take center stage. One particular dessert, with its delicate white chocolate notes, transported me straight back to my childhood—a testament to the power of culinary storytelling. Each dish is a masterpiece, from the aromatic Cornish Pollack to the exquisite Mallard, presented with precision and passion. The wine pairings were equally extraordinary—each glass came with its own story, like a captivating bedtime tale for adults, perfectly complementing the meal. The open kitchen adds to the magic. Watching the chefs work in seamless harmony, creating dishes with such finesse and without a sound, is nothing short of mesmerizing. The waitstaff are equally remarkable—attentive, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring you feel utterly pampered. We floated on a cloud the entire evening, completely immersed in the experience. This is, without a doubt, one of the finest restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. I hope these words do justice to the brilliance of Evelyn’s Table.
An amazing experience with phenomenal Chefs! We celebrated birthdays and every part of the dining experience exceeded our expectations. Emma…Thanks so much for excellent coordination efforts and assistance with special requests. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish was created with attention to detail and flavor pairings that wowed us each time. Unforgettable and amazing sums it up! Thanks again!
Evelyn’s Table We were very excited to visit Evelyn’s Table once we knew that the new head chef was Seamus who we had met before at Muse. So on Saturday we made our way to Rupert Street in soho. You enter through the side entrance of the Blue Post pub where we were given a lovely welcome before enjoying a drink at the bar. We were then taken downstairs to the cosy and intimate 12 seater counter dining room. Here we met Seamus and chefs Sam and Dan as well as the rest of the team who were all very friendly and make you feel relaxed straight away. We looked at the menu which for lunch is a 4 course Tasting Menu for £95. You also get a bread and a selection of snacks and as the food portions are not small I think it’s good value for money. To start we were given a complimentary glass of bubbles courtesy of Seamus. Following the delicious snacks and bread we moved on to the first course of Cornish Pollock , leek and mussel which was delicious. This was followed by my dish of the day in the Guinea Fowl with celeriac risotto and cep veloute. You could also add a supplement of truffle to make the dish even more fabulous. Now it was time for the main course of Peking Style Mallard with butternut squash , turnip and quince. We then finished with a delightful dessert of Pear , jerusalem artichoke , pine and shiso. All the dishes were all fabulously matched with a great selection of wines by sommelier Isabelle who I have to say was excellent. We were also looked after by waitress India who was very friendly and professional. This was a great way to spend a Saturday lunchtime with fantastic food , wine and service along with being able to engage with the team throughout. I would highly recommend a visit to Evelyn’s Table and are looking forward to returning myself soon in the new year. Thank You Seamus , Sam , Dan , Isabelle and India for an amazing lunch and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Place for 12 people. You can arrive half an hour in advance and enjoy a drink in the wine bar. Reserve for 6pm or 8pm. No tables. You are sitting at the counter watching the chefs cooking. 5 course menu with wine pairing. Excellent service. Enjoyed the new menu. Definetely a place to visit despite it being rather expensive.
