✨ HighlightCulinary of arts experience through a seven courses Omakase! From start to finish, every plates was a work of arts. There is no menu, however it included 3 appetizers, 2 second courses (fish and meat) ending with 2 desserts. Our favorite were the scallops carpaccio, full of flavors and textures. We upgraded with caviar. The beef Wagyu which was upgraded was perfectly rare, tender and soft. We sat upstairs in the dining room but they do have counter seatings on the first floor with the kitchen set in the back. Service was attentive.→

✨ HighlightI wished I loved this place but maybe cause am not French - I didn’t. This restaurant was recommended by several food blogs. The prime rib was the thing to get. I don’t eat a ton of meat but I love trying new things. However I really hated the prime rib. It tasted like ham mixed with beef and had a soggy chewy texture. It was a huge portion though. However spending $100 on this beef was upsetting. I maybe took 2 bites. The crispy rice was decent along with the potatoes. Overall maybe it’s just not the food for me. Service was nice.→

✨ HighlightThe service was excellent 10/10. Both servers were incredibly attentive. That being said: Take a look at the bill in the pictures; the price simply wasn’t justified. The food wasn’t bad, but it was vastly overpriced. Do yourself a favor and find a real French bistro it will cost you half as much as this place. Won’t be coming back.→

✨ HighlightSo we arrived in Paris from San Francisco and wanted some dinner before going to bed. It was a Monday night, and we walked around for some food. We passed by this place around 8:30 pm, and there was a line out the door, so we decided to walk around. Not seeing anything else, we came back around 9 pm, and there was still a line. We decided to wait and were seated in about 9 minutes. The place is rather large inside and the staff was friendly. Our order was taken promptly, and aside from dessert being brought out right away, the food was filling and delicious. We liked how you can just scan a QR code at your table and pay. The price point is correct at about $20-$30 euros/person. A bit more if you add drinks.→

✨ HighlightBy far the best restaurant we ate at in Paris. Tucked away on a quiet street in Les Marais, Chez Janou was everything we’d hoped for. Very busy restaurant and you’ll not get a table for dinner without booking. We had the 10pm sitting and where worried the restaurant may be quiet but not all all. Every table full and the bar in full swing. Cozy and bistro like with a really amazing atmosphere. I believe our server was Mariana and a complete star. So welcoming and fun to speak with. She found out it was my partners birthday and out came the shots. I don’t even need to tell you how good the food is, but I promise you won’t be disappointed. Just try and leave room for desert because the chocolate mouse is not to be missed. Thank you for an amazing evening and we wish you all the best for the future.→

✨ HighlightWas a bit underwhelming to be honest. The wine was great but the food lacked flavour. The sardines in sorrel leaves were probably the best in terms of taste. I’ve ordered a steak and egg pita it has weirdly no taste, 3 portions of thin meat with some cucumbers onions and tomatoes and got 0 TASTE! and all of this for 13 euros honestly i left the restaurant after this bad experience and ordered a pastrami sandwich in the next street that was way way way better for 12 euro that is very correct not to mention that one of the waiters was pretty aggressive with both of us my friend and I. ✨ HighlightMy wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Benoit during our recent stay in Paris. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. The cassoulet and tenderloin were both particularly excellent. The Michelin Star here felt very warranted, and we both agreed that Benoit offered a great value for our money. Be sure to make a reservation, as they were not accommodating walk-ins while we were dining. We will definitely return on future trips to Paris!→

✨ HighlightCame with a small group where everyone ordered some version of the formula. I personally ordered the porc pate and the equivalent of an American chicken bake. Kind of a pot pie, kind of like scalloped potatoes. I loved both. The chocolate mousse was tasty - the chocolate shavings on top was a nice touch - but it’s hard to go wrong with chocolate mousse. I enjoyed my meal enough to want to come back. Based on that and the reactions of everyone else in my group to their meals I am giving 5 stars. Staff was friendly, service was decent.→

✨ HighlightIt’s a very popular restaurant and I was lucky to get a seat before the crowd came in. Seats were tucked side by side with strangers which I can understand is a business strategy but should still have some space to make guests feel comfortable. Service staff were very busy and when my party wanted to split the check for business claims, we were given a very irritated “tsk” and the waitress gave up to ask her English speaking colleague to help. Steak wasn’t the best quality but the sauce was really good. Star had to be the fries of this meal and it is a pretty decent place with no menu.→

✨ HighlightQuestion. Is a ham sandwich ever worth 20Euro? I’m still in two minds. What I can say is that there was no queue outside on a Saturday lunchtime. Perhaps the public are talking with their feet? What I can say is that service was perfectly nice. The ham was succulent, flavourful, and there was a lot of it in the baguette. The bread itself was beautifully crisp on the outside. Had a wonderful chew on the inside. Comte cheese was glorious. And the pickles were a wonderful distraction from the richness of the butter and meat. I enjoyed the rest of the sandwich with a glass of champagne in the hotel room. Would I pay 20Euro again? You know what, I probably would…→

✨ HighlightA traditional French restaurant which offers classification dishes, it’s small but very cosy. It seems like people dining there are the regular one and they know each other. A gentleman on the next table chatted with us. It was from him that we knew the owner (who is still working in the restaurant) is over 80 years ago. The owner and the staff are all extremely friendly even they don’t really speak English. There is no English menu available but you can always find a way to order and communicate with them. You get a small class of bubble as a welcome drink once seated. I think this place deserves more rating.→

✨ HighlightI was walking hungry on Rue Saint-Maur in Paris at noon when I came across this restaurant. You could see the kitchen activities through the glass and to be honest, that attracted me, of course, plus the menu behind the window. I had a very good experience, because I usually prefer to eat fish to control my cholesterol, and I was served one of the most delicious fish. Fresh and well-cooked, the roasted fennel and the juicy side of the fish were perfect. Along with a small bottle of warm sake served in a beautiful little glass and a first-class mango ice cream dessert. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. I will definitely go back to the Double Dragons restaurant to experience the food again. The attitude of the staff and the service are very good, my only complaint might be the decoration of the shop. I understand that the restaurant is supposed to be close to the spirit of Asian restaurants and simplicity and minimalism are crucial , but I wish better paintings were chosen for the decorations!→

✨ HighlightVery solid dining experience. Having said that, the steak was good but not superb. For the price, I have had better steak. But..the food was good. The appetizer, sides and dessert were all top notch. The service was great. And it's a comfortable place to have dinner. The price it just a little much for what you get.→
