I wished I loved this place but maybe cause am not French - I didn’t. This restaurant was recommended by several food blogs. The prime rib was the thing to get. I don’t eat a ton of meat but I love trying new things. However I really hated the prime rib. It tasted like ham mixed with beef and had a soggy chewy texture. It was a huge portion though. However spending $100 on this beef was upsetting. I maybe took 2 bites. The crispy rice was decent along with the potatoes. Overall maybe it’s just not the food for me. Service was nice.
Fantastic and personable service with good wine recommendations. The food was lovely with thai flavours combined with French cooking techniques. A very welcome change from the usual bistro fare/flavours. This restaurant deserves its high rating.
Positive experience first time, less so second visit. Positives (2nd visit) - the main plates (canard, poisson) & 1 dessert (chocolate tarte) were well-prepared and tasty, bland crumble; the entrees, including their signature crispy rice were uninteresting & cold - arrived when my wife was away from the table and before taking our wine order! No clearing of table crumbs before dessert or changing of silverware between dishes. No affordable red wine options (under 45 euros)
Reservation needed, amazing cuisine with friendly services and a great selection of wine naturel. Place is very cute with attention to detail.
