✨ HighlightI did zero research when i visited the restaurant. All i knew was that a DJ from my hometown (who is a foodie) recommended this restaurant, and that i loved her recommendations having tried them from my other travels. So i knew i was in for a treat. The interior of the restaurant had this unpretentious old school “charm” to it, and it may even be deemed as somewhat quirky; random stacks of cookery, and even a fountain in the middle of the restaurant. My interest was peaked. Back to the food, we heard that the portions here could serve up to 4 individuals - they weren’t kidding. We ordered a seafood fettuccine, and it could feed the 3 of us, and we each had 2 plateful of pastas. As you can see, the restaurant was REALLY generous with the seafood. The pasta itself was very tasty, and it was on par with what i had in Rome, Italy. Is it the best seafood pasta that i’ve had? No, it wasn’t, BUT it’s pretty darn good plate of it. It’s not a must go restaurant, but it’s a really solid option for seafood pasta. Desserts are just alright, and nothing to shout about - we had the cheesecake and tiramisu. Bonus: Wines are reasonably priced!→

✨ HighlightWe booked this dinner months in advance. We selected the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings. Each dish exceeded expectations in taste, texture and presentation. Our server, Gabriel, also was able to work with us in English - which was so nice and appreciated. Although we were seated next to the door & it had mechanical issues resulting in a breeze, this little Canadian didn’t mind the fresh air. Thanks again. We will be back.→

✨ HighlightI was here the second day I arrived to Sao Pablo. I was so happy what I found here, sound like home in Mekong Delta. As a Vietnamese haven’t tried my own cuisine from other restaurants outside of Vietnam. I can tell the broth quite different but definitely the food and menu and everything they have make me very happy and satisfied, they have a lot of vege, herb in the food which exactly like Vietnamese good. After having a big meal there and can speak my own language, I bought 2 Pho and 1 Spicy beef noodle and spring home to enjoy for the dinner. Come and try guys→

✨ HighlightThere are a few things to keep in mind before visiting. I went on a Saturday at 11:30, and there was a large crowd in front of the restaurant. The key is to pass the crowd, speak to the lady at the entrance to register your name, and get your ticket with a number on it. When your number is called, you can go in—but the tricky part is that most of the staff don't speak English, so you'll need to understand your number in Portuguese. I waited about 30 minutes, which was fine for me. Once inside, the quality and service were impeccable. They offered a wide variety of meats, all perfectly cooked. However, I was expecting more high-quality mustard options; they only had Maille Dijon, and after tasting it, I'm not entirely sure it was the original. The all-you-can-eat "Rodizio Completo" was priced at 236 Real, which is reasonable compared to other meat restaurants, especially considering the variety, quantity, and quality of the meats. Overall, it was a great experience—just be mindful of how much meat you consume, as eating too much can lead to health concerns!→

✨ HighlightA very good place if you are looking for modern Brazilian cuisine. We went there for lunch, I've ordered the polvilho as entrees, this is a must try if you go there. It is warm, crunchy, and delicious. We also had the tuna tartar mayo, which was ok. Nothing special. For mains, we had the steak with Serrano ham sauce and manioc. The beef was perfect. Be aware that the medium rare in Brazil is considered rare in some countries. My wife had the pork with pamonha and fennel salad. The pamonha, I'm not kidding, was one of the best I had in my life. Pamonha is a very traditional brazilian dish from the central region. We had espresso to finish, the coffee was very well executed with a partnership of a coffee shop inside the shopping. They have decent wine list.→

✨ Highlight"Great Atmosphere and Service, Food Needs Improvement " I recently visited this establishment and was thoroughly impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and the quality of the drinks. The ambiance is fantastic, making it a great spot for an evening out.The highlight, without a doubt, was the exceptional service. From the moment we walked in until we left, the staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. They truly went above and beyond, which made our visit memorable. However, while the drinks were top-notch, the food didn't quite meet the same standard. It wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the high expectations set by the other aspects of our visit. With some improvement in this area, this place could be outstanding. In summary, I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a place with a great vibe and excellent drinks. If the food matches up to the rest of the experience in the future, it will be unbeatable!→

✨ HighlightWe came for lunch after visiting the Beco do Batman (Batman’s Alley). We knew in advance this would be more expensive, but we wanted to try the picanha. The picanha and food ingeneral was good however the price was high for what we ate. Plus the servers didn’t seem really interested and animated. We asked about the non functioning wifi and they didn’t seem to try to get it working. They served us one drink and never really came back to ask if we wanted more. They did change the burner once they noticed the fire was running low. Overall, not recommended since there are so many other options in this area. Also might be a lack of motivated afternoon shift workers.→

✨ HighlightCarlota continues to be a landmark in São Paulo. The food is great, kind of “traditional cuisine with Brazilian touches” that works pretty well. In the picture, the duck confit with açaí and cupuaçu, for instance. The classic guava soufflé is also a must. To be perfect, I just wish there was some innovation every now and then, a more comprehensive wine list, and a bit more flexibility towards the guests needs (like someone from our table that asked for the beef Wellington to be just quickly braised a bit - sure, “wrong”, but it doesn’t hurt to aim at pleasing, rather than at being right.)→

✨ HighlightOne of the best experiences and food you can find in São Paulo! We were there for lunch, we had no bookings, so we just showed up at 12 on the dot. We were able to get a table. The staff was extremely welcoming and professional from the beginning. We started with some drinks, and my wife had the Limonada da Paola, which reminds me of a lemon, lime, and bitters. Was very good! I had a caipirinha, with excellent cachaça and extremely well executed. My compliments to the bartender. For the entrees, we had the carpaccio. It was fresh, light with an amazing flavour. The execution was impeccable. We also had the Terrine Maison, which was balanced and with an amazing flavour. It paired so well with the rose wine we had. For the mains, my wife had the ricotta ravioli with tomato sauce. It was perfect... I can't describe it in any other way. The pasta was thin and light, and the sauce was sweet and not watery. I had the fish of the day. That was a Robalo (Sea bass). The waitress suggested ordering a side. A linguine with butter sauce. The pairing was amazing. Both dishes were excellent in so many ways. I couldn't find an issue. In the end, we ordered that pavlova, and even living in Australia for 7 years, that was the best pavlova I ever had. The espressos at the end were from extremely good sourced coffee beans. The restaurant is not cheap, but it delivers everything you paid for. I would like to congratulate the chef Paola and all the staff for the amazing service and ambience.→

✨ HighlightI had a fantastic experience at Oizumi, this is probably the best sushi I’ve had in Brazil, and it represents one of the highest levels of sushi in South America. The chef is clearly talented and passionate, having fallen in love with sushi in just a few years and joining a Michelin-starred restaurant. As the only Asian guest and a sushi enthusiast, I have a few small suggestions: Sushi Rice Tasting: The rice tasting is unique, but since all the rice comes from the same pot, the impact is limited. It’s a nice touch, but I recommend clearing the spoons afterward. Sushi Serving Style: The chef serves 5-6 pieces of sushi at once, but I think serving one piece at a time would enhance the experience and preserve the sushi’s quality. Customization: It’s hard to customize the rice for each guest, but asking guests about their preferred wasabi level after the first piece would be a nice touch. Menu Balance: For a 16-course omakase, most dishes are sushi or rolls. Adding 3-4 more appetizers would provide a better balance. Lastly, since the chef encourages eating with hands, I suggest providing dedicated wet wipes for cleaning hands, rather than the towel. Thanks again for the wonderful experience!→

✨ HighlightI recently dined at Kosushi in São Paulo, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall. The restaurant's ambiance is modern and elegant, creating a great atmosphere for a special evening out. Now, let's talk about the food. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Each piece of nigiri was a work of art in itself. The chef's attention to detail in both flavor and presentation was evident, and I appreciated their dedication to traditional Japanese techniques. The menu had a good variety of options, and I was particularly impressed with their specialty rolls. The creativity in combining ingredients while maintaining the authentic flavors was commendable. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us navigate through the different choices. However, the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing. While the quality of the food and service is unquestionable, it is on the higher end in terms of cost. This may not be an everyday dining option for everyone. Overall, Kosushi is an excellent choice for a special occasion or when you're craving top-notch Japanese cuisine. If you're willing to splurge a bit, it's worth the experience.→
