Pingjiang Road is one of Suzhou's best-preserved ancient streets, dating back over 800 years to the Song Dynasty. Stretching about 1.6 kilometers along a canal, it offers a glimpse into the city's historic water town charm. The road is paved with cobblestones and flanked by traditional white-walled, black-tiled buildings that house teahouses, silk shops, art galleries, and snack vendors.
