Ping Hu Qiu Yue, meaning 'Autumn Moon on Calm Lake', is one of the most beloved scenic spots along Hangzhou's West Lake. Located west of the Bai Causeway in Xihu District, this park offers a serene escape with its classical Chinese gardens, willow-lined paths, and a famous pavilion dedicated to moon-gazing. The site dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and was a favorite of the poet Bai Juyi. The current pavilion was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). It is one of the 'Ten Scenes of West Lake', a UNESCO World Heritage site.
