Ping Hu Qiu Yue

Ping Hu Qiu Yue, meaning 'Autumn Moon on Calm Lake', is one of the most beloved scenic spots along Hangzhou's West Lake. • Bicycles are allowed on the causeway but must be walked through the park. Rentals are available nearby.

• Try a cup of Longjing tea at a lakeside teahouse, the area is famous for its tea culture.

历史背景

The site dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and was a favorite of the poet Bai Juyi. The current pavilion was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). It is one of the 'Ten Scenes of West Lake', a UNESCO World Heritage site.
