✨ HighlightA must in Paris for its atmosphere, evoking good old times. The service is really disappointing. By the pint of view of the waiters you need to spend over €100 in beverages, otherwise they’ll offer you a very low-quality service. Regarding the food, it was good but nothing special for which to say ‘the best’.→

✨ HighlightThe service was excellent 10/10. Both servers were incredibly attentive. That being said: Take a look at the bill in the pictures; the price simply wasn’t justified. The food wasn’t bad, but it was vastly overpriced. Do yourself a favor and find a real French bistro it will cost you half as much as this place. Won’t be coming back.→

✨ HighlightChef’s kiss to this Pizza! We ordered 2 pizzas Disco inferno and Cicciona, that were absolutely delicious plus our burrata, which was also spectacular (fresh, great tomatoes fantastic olive oil!) Our little one had a margherita enfant which they made in shape of a bunny and it made his day🥰🥰 We loved the place and will be back! ✨ HighlightA nice and cozy restaurant which serves a 5-course degustation menu. Service is fantastic. Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. A delight to have a conversation with about food and wine in general. Food is quite unique. There is depth and sophistication in the taste of each course. Combining the sauces they elevate the flavours to a new level. The pork dish is not my favourite though. The desert or our meal is all corn based and was a delight. I don’t mind a Michelin starred restaurant with industrial style metal top tables and without table cloths; but on a very hot 36 degree day it was just way too hot inside.→

✨ HighlightThis was one of my all time favorite meal experiences. The plates are hand crafted by an artisan in Peru, the knives are Ceccaldi and the atmosphere is warm and non pretentious. The sommelier was so patient and knowledgeable and he knew exactly when to pour. Our waitress was so friendly and took lots of time with us.We shared tiger shrimp in a delicious sauce with bone broth. My sweetheart had a beautiful filet with parsley puree, garlic and mushrooms. It was perfect. I had monkfish barbecued on the bone with a yellow wine sauce and harissa. It had shallots and small tender fungi with gorgeous currants and spinach. We also shared roasted eggplant that melted on our tongues. We planned to eat dessert, but we were perfectly sated. The restaurant is named after Elmer the elephant. This is truly a culinary gem. The smells during the day that flow into the gym have been a huge factor & temptation. The spices and the flavors that stick to your palette are literally to die for. ✨ HighlightWe went here for lunch. Had high hopes for the Michelin rated restaurant. I was a little disappointed. Nothing really appealed to me and nothing jumped out as wow! There were also a few problems. The fish with the single mini clam, I almost had to spit out the clam because it was so fishy. The fish was ok…. The meat dish was strange, I don’t know which part of the cow this was from, but it had so much tendons and so much fat, didn’t get much out of it. Though the little I was able to carve out it did have a nice smoky flavor. We chose the four course prefix because our stomach hasn’t adjusted to the time zone and couldn’t eat that much which was technically our breakfast. There were some chips on the table. Unique. Liked them. The mushroom ravioli was ok. The first vegetable dish was meh. The dessert was ok. We were in a hurry by this time. If we had more time and our stomach was time adjusted, would have wanted to try the A5 wagyu for an extra $50. They gave different cutlery for each dish. Their service was up to Michelin standards. There is a single bathroom with a Japanese bidet. Would love to give this place another try next time we are in Paris.→

✨ HighlightFairly nice restaurant in the area, the staff was helpful, the food even though it was not overwhelming it was good, the starter ( sardines) was actually the best dish, the fish was perfectly cooked however the canette was a bit " difficult" too eat. ✨ HighlightHonestly it was my first time there Many friends told me that it has nice food etc Very very disappointing experience Why the prices are so high for such food? I’ve ordered a steak and egg pita it has weirdly no taste, 3 portions of thin meat with some cucumbers onions and tomatoes and got 0 TASTE! and all of this for 13 euros honestly i left the restaurant after this bad experience and ordered a pastrami sandwich in the next street that was way way way better for 12 euro that is very correct not to mention that one of the waiters was pretty aggressive with both of us my friend and I. And she kinda shouted our names to get our food but it was her job normally I don’t recommend it honestly Hope it will get better some day !→

✨ HighlightTable is really overpriced for a 2* Michelin restaurant. We are welcomed by the chef/owner which is really nice. The service started very good, and we noticed that the quality of service went down a lot the further into the evening. The overall quality/taste/presentation of the food was not what we expected. We even didn’t finish some the courses that is been served, and we have never been asked why we didn’t finish the dish or whether we have enjoyed the food. However we did noticed that waiters who came to collect the finished dishes made weird eye contact to each other when we didn’t finish the food. Also some the courses are presented in plastic plates, and I think it’s not acceptable for that kind of restaurant.→

✨ HighlightLovely night at this bistro celebrating my boyfriends birthday. I had been before 2 years ago and loved it. It did not disappoint and really enjoyed our meals. The wine list was a little overwhelming and big we had no idea what to order, but our waiter helped us. The 4/5 score as and the fish was very expensive for simple fish with boiled potatoes (nearly the same price as steak for 2 persons) it was really nice but the comparison was significant. ✨ HighlightCame with a small group where everyone ordered some version of the formula. I personally ordered the porc pate and the equivalent of an American chicken bake. Kind of a pot pie, kind of like scalloped potatoes. I loved both. The chocolate mousse was tasty - the chocolate shavings on top was a nice touch - but it’s hard to go wrong with chocolate mousse. Perhaps the public are talking with their feet? What I can say is that service was perfectly nice. The ham was succulent, flavourful, and there was a lot of it in the baguette. The bread itself was beautifully crisp on the outside. Had a wonderful chew on the inside. Comte cheese was glorious. And the pickles were a wonderful distraction from the richness of the butter and meat. I enjoyed the rest of the sandwich with a glass of champagne in the hotel room. Would I pay 20Euro again? The staff at the bar counter are super cool and passionate about the place they work in. We tasted a wide variety of wines and spirits. But the best part of it all was the dishes we had: half way between tapas and proper dishes, ideal for sharing and ordering a multitude of them. The even better surprise? The bill. ✨ HighlightI was walking hungry on Rue Saint-Maur in Paris at noon when I came across this restaurant. You could see the kitchen activities through the glass and to be honest, that attracted me, of course, plus the menu behind the window. I had a very good experience, because I usually prefer to eat fish to control my cholesterol, and I was served one of the most delicious fish. Fresh and well-cooked, the roasted fennel and the juicy side of the fish were perfect. Along with a small bottle of warm sake served in a beautiful little glass and a first-class mango ice cream dessert. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. I will definitely go back to the Double Dragons restaurant to experience the food again.
