Went twice for dinner. And each time it was a delightful culinary experience, with a totally different menu (except for a couple of items). The staff at the bar counter are super cool and passionate about the place they work in. We tasted a wide variety of wines and spirits. But the best part of it all was the dishes we had: half way between tapas and proper dishes, ideal for sharing and ordering a multitude of them. The even better surprise? The bill. Although it's not a cheap place, value for money's great, considering the quality and quantity of items ordered and wines tasted. Can't wait to be back! Only bemol: no responsiveness on their instagram page, as I was trying to book at distance once.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Gare au Gorille in Paris, a prominent spot in the city’s new culinary scene. My previous visit was a while ago, but returning now, I found that the restaurant’s cuisine has maintained its excellence. The dishes are still as delicious and creative as ever, blending classic bistro foundations with modern twists and flavors. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to savor their offerings
Pleasant airy place, very agreeable waiters but portions small and food very overpriced. We paid 40 euros a head for two risottos, one pulled pork, two small pieces of cheese, two very small glasses of mediocre wine and one coffee. Far too much
Amazing little restaurant that we were lucky to get into seeing how busy it was on a Tuesday night. The staff were so friendly and helpful, a real asset to the place. Our French is pretty poor but they guided us through the menu and gave some great recommendations. The menu changes fairly regularly so I won't go into detail as to what we had but it was all extremely good.
