Yuexiu Mountain

Yuexiu Mountain is a sprawling urban park in the heart of Guangzhou, covering about 92 hectares. It is the city's largest green space and a beloved recreational area for locals and tourists alike. The park is built around a series of low hills, with winding paths, lush subtropical vegetation, and several historical landmarks. The most famous is the Five Rams Statue, a large sculpture that symbolizes Guangzhou's legendary founding. 历史背景

Yuexiu Mountain has been a significant site since the Qin Dynasty (221–206 BC) and was part of the city's ancient fortifications. The Zhenhai Tower was built in 1380 during the Ming Dynasty as a watchtower, later becoming a museum.
