Huangpu Park

Huangpu Park is a small but iconic green space situated at the northern end of the Bund, where the Huangpu River meets the Suzhou Creek. Một chút lịch sử

Huangpu Park was first opened in 1868 as a British concession garden, originally restricted to foreigners. It became a symbol of colonial exclusion, famously associated with the 'No dogs or Chinese allowed' sign. After 1949, it was reopened to all and has since been a public park. The park was renovated in the 1990s and now includes a memorial to the People's Heroes.
