The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and cozy, servers were professional, however the food was mediocre. The servers explained that there’s a farm on site and a lot of the ingredients were grown on site, indicating how fresh they were. One of the most memorable dishes was one single tiny ball of potato that was grown in their own farm. All I can say is that it is a potato. Other dishes were fresh and tasted okay but nothing close to Michelin standard. For a meal it was alright but for the price, and the fact that it was in the middle of nowhere, meaning you’d have to plan a trip there, is not worth the time or money to me personally.→

I ordered the Brisket to go and was blown away by its flavour when I got home and tried it. I usually take better food photos but couldn’t wait to bite into The Lockhart! It hit the spot and the meat was perfect, the sausage was a tasty addition too and worked surprisingly well. My good friend also ordered the Big D and said it was real good- I will try that next time as the coleslaw looked fresh and my buddy said it worked well in the sandwich. DEFINITELY try the smoked brisket!!! So much unique smoked and delicious flavours going on - so unique, soft and good! As we finished ordering a family showed up and were trying to order the chicken- I may also try that next time. Congrats to the owners on opening up the other locations too! The staff are always so kind and attentive and ready to chat about any item on the menu. If you're going, I recommend getting several plates to share so you can try a big of everything. Each dish has been so carefully thought out and curated, and cooked to perfection. I'm not a drinker, but they are always ready to let me go off menu with a fun mocktail, which I really appreciate. And if you're looking for a place for a special occasion, truly look no further. I was here in December 2024 for a final girl dinner with my friend before she moves abroad, and we had the best service I've ever gotten anywhere, and the staff dropped off a hand-written card with well wishes for my friend ahead of her big move. ✨ HighlightHad dinner here with friends and I must say we had an awesome experience. Our servers were extremely attentive to all our needs and the food was tasteful, presented well and extremely flavourful. My only advise to the owners is that the lighting in the restaurant does not lend itself to elevated Indian cuisine. It was way too bright and fluorescent. Didn’t lend itself to creating a favourable high end atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for its service, hospitality and food.→

They also have a unique and large cocktail menu, the cocktails are more spirit-forward, great for people who like stronger drinks. We went on a Saturday night, gets a little busy but was a fun crowd.
