Second Time round, never disappoint with the fine and rare ingredients cooked to an art. I especially enjoy their excellent presentation with such detail to the presentation. Book a room for a more private setting worth it! Also recommend the sparking tea which is non alcoholic choice! Definitely return!
Omakase restaurant opened from Vancouver BC company. Very nice presentation! Generally quite delicious and dishes uses good ingredients. However, food temperature are all not hot enough! The aroma of the truffle used were not very good! One star Michelin for a few years! Need a lot of work to get another star, may be!
An experience. So grateful to have the privilege to eat here. Every dish is a story. Beautiful presentation and drama. Fantastic flavors. Extremely extremely formal setting with quite bright light making it a little uncomfortable. This is a group seating with others. Person next to us was bery informally dressed, wearing flip flops and sweats but because they were Chanel, I guess it's ok.
We have been to many Michelin Star restaurants around the world and this was the worst. Here, the rules were exhausting (no cologne, etc, etc.) and an additional 50.00 charge for a private room (converted office) when "they" were full at the suishi bar. Most of the 8 courses/dishes were smoked so felt sick when we left. Really poor presentation in some dishes (empty pea pods around hay with the food in the centre), what? The trick of using dry ice is so dated....Anyway, for $1,000.00 for 2 people was a complete rip off. Staff were great.
