Cham Island
A cluster of eight islands about 15 km offshore, a UNESCO biosphere reserve with the best snorkelling within reach of Hoi An. The main island has a fishing village, a small market and a beach; the reef is shallow enough that you see plenty without diving.
Worth knowing: The crossing is by speedboat and the sea decides. Sailings are frequently suspended from roughly October to February, and even in season a rough morning cancels the day.

- With tours MBS, MBC, MBECOHA: pick up Hoi An city + Da Nang city beachside (not over Tho Quang), so travellers staying at hotels from the bridge to the city centre have to come to the meeting point (any point convenient for the traveller at the beachside).
- Meeting point in Hoi An city: 429A Cua Dai St, Hoi An. Meeting point in Da Nang city: 14 An Nhon 10 St, Son Tra.
