Long Live the Victory of Mao Zedong Thought is a large epoxy resin statue of Chairman Mao Zedong on Zhongshan Square in central Shenyang. It stands 9 meters tall on a 9-meter base, surrounded by 58 statues of worker-peasant-soldier heroes. Erected in 1970 during the Cultural Revolution, it is one of the few major provincial monuments from that era still standing.
