Aduana

Standing along Muralla Street within the walled city of Intramuros, the Aduana Building (also called the Aduana de Manila) is a striking example of Spanish colonial architecture. Built in the 19th century, it once housed the customs and tax offices that regulated trade through the nearby Port of Manila. The structure features neoclassical elements, with a grand facade, arched windows, and a central courtyard. Though damaged during World War II and subsequent neglect, the building has been partially restored and now serves as a venue for cultural events and exhibits.
