National Science Center

The National Science Center, also known as Pusat Sains Negara, is a sprawling science museum located on a hilltop in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. The center features over 1,000 interactive exhibits spread across multiple galleries, covering topics from physics and biology to space exploration. Visitors can explore the Discovery Centre, where hands-on experiments demonstrate scientific principles, or step into the planetarium for immersive shows about the cosmos. The outdoor Science Park includes large-scale exhibits like a giant kaleidoscope and a sound garden. The building itself is distinctive, designed to resemble a truncated cone, symbolizing a rocket or a science lab. The center is particularly popular with families and school groups, offering a fun and educational experience that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Un peu d'histoire

The National Science Center opened in 1996 as Malaysia's premier science education facility. It was established by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation to promote scientific literacy among the public.
