KLCC Park is the green lung at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers, a beautifully landscaped 20-hectare park that gives Kuala Lumpur's most famous towers their best vantage point. Designed by the Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, it wraps walking and jogging paths around a man-made lake, tropical plantings, a children's playground, and a wading pool. In the evening, the Lake Symphony fountain show plays across the water with the illuminated towers soaring behind, a free, genuinely magical scene.
It's the ideal counterpoint to the surrounding malls and skyscrapers: shaded, breezy, and the spot every visitor ends up for that full-height photo of the towers reflected in the lake. Come at dusk for the fountain show and the towers lighting up.
