Dalian Botanical Garden

Dalian Botanical Garden is a sprawling green space located on a gentle slope in the Zhongshan District, offering a peaceful escape from the city's bustle. The garden is divided into several themed sections, including a rose garden, a bamboo grove, a rock garden with a small waterfall, and a greenhouse filled with tropical plants. Winding paths lead visitors past ponds with koi fish, pavilions for resting, and a small lake where you can rent paddleboats. The garden is especially beautiful in spring when cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom, and in autumn when the maple leaves turn crimson. It's a popular spot for morning tai chi, family picnics, and leisurely strolls.

Un peu d'histoire

Established in 1929 during the Japanese occupation of Dalian, the garden was originally a research facility for plant acclimatization. It was opened to the public in 1930 and has since been expanded with Chinese and Japanese garden elements.
