Dalian Botanical Garden

Dalian Botanical Garden is a sprawling green space located on a gentle slope in the Zhongshan District, offering a peaceful escape from the city's bustle. The garden is divided into several themed sections, including a rose garden, a bamboo grove, a rock garden with a small waterfall, and a greenhouse filled with tropical plants. Winding paths lead visitors past ponds with koi fish, pavilions for resting, and a small lake where you can rent paddleboats. The garden is especially beautiful in spring when cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom, and in autumn when the maple leaves turn crimson. 역사 이야기

Established in 1929 during the Japanese occupation of Dalian, the garden was originally a research facility for plant acclimatization. It was opened to the public in 1930 and has since been expanded with Chinese and Japanese garden elements.
