Pacific Central Station is Vancouver's main intercity rail hub, located at 1150 Station Street in the vibrant Yaletown and False Creek North neighborhood. Built in 1919 as a Canadian Northern Railway terminal, the station features elegant Beaux-Arts architecture with a grand facade, marble floors, and a spacious waiting hall. Un peu d'histoire
Opened in 1919 as the Pacific Central Station for Canadian Northern Railway, it later served Canadian National and Via Rail. It was designated a heritage railway station in 1991 and underwent renovations in the 2000s to accommodate Amtrak and Rocky Mountaineer services.
