The Manio Giant, or Géant du Manio, is an impressive solitary menhir standing over 6.5 meters (21 feet) tall, making it the largest standing stone in the Carnac region. It is located near the Manio quadrilateral, a rectangular arrangement of stones whose purpose remains unknown. The giant menhir dominates the landscape and is visible from a distance. Unlike the alignments, this is a single massive stone, possibly marking a significant location or serving as a territorial marker. The site is less visited, offering a serene spot to contemplate Neolithic monumentality.
