The Alignments of Kerlescan are one of the three main megalithic groups in Carnac, featuring 555 standing stones arranged in 13 rows. Unlike Ménec, these alignments end in a semicircular megalithic enclosure, which may have had a ceremonial function. The stones here are generally smaller than those at Ménec, but the site is more intimate and less crowded, offering a peaceful experience. The rows are well-defined, and you can see the careful placement of stones that align with the landscape. A visit to Kerlescan complements the larger Ménec site, providing a different perspective on Neolithic engineering.
