The World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta tells the story of the world's most famous soft drink, born in the city in 1886. It's an unabashedly branded experience, but a well-made one: you'll see the vault that 'houses the secret formula,' a working bottling line, vintage advertising and memorabilia across a century, and the 4-D theatre. The finale everyone remembers is the tasting room, where you can sample dozens of Coca-Cola products from around the world, some delicious, some (looking at you, Beverly from Italy) memorably awful.
It sits beside the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park, making an easy downtown combo. It's polished, family-friendly, and frankly fun if you take it for what it is, corporate, but charming.
