Mata Bhavani's Stepwell, built in the 11th century, is a remarkable five-story subterranean structure in Ahmedabad. It features intricate carvings of deities, geometric patterns, and floral motifs, showcasing Solanki-era craftsmanship. The stepwell descends into the earth, with pillared pavilions and steps leading to the water level. Visitors can marvel at the engineering and artistry, and imagine the stepwell's historical role as a community gathering spot. It is one of the oldest and deepest stepwells in Gujarat.
