Yinding Bridge

Yinding Bridge, also known as the Silver Ingot Bridge, is a charming marble arch bridge spanning the narrowest point of Shichahai Lake in central Beijing. Its name derives from its shape, which resembles a silver ingot (yuanbao), a traditional Chinese currency symbolizing wealth. 历史背景

Yinding Bridge was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) and later rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The bridge's silver ingot design was considered auspicious, bringing good fortune to those who crossed it.
