✨ HighlightExcellent vegetable-forward plant based eatery and fine dining experience. The food was fantastic, as were the cocktails and the service. We started with a cocktail at the bar; Vedge has great happy hour specials served at the bar on weeknights from 5-7pm. Once seated at our table, we ordered the rutabaga fondue, which may have been my favorite dish of all — so good, with unique, savory flavors that are really hard to find among vegan food. Also ordered the stuffed avocado (very tasty), squash (the aji sauce was 🔥), carrot dish, and Dan Dan noodles (these were so tasty, and nice sized portion). Everything was excellent - creatively prepared and delicious. For dessert ordered the pumpkin bread, which was super. Great dinner. Great spot for a date night.→

✨ HighlightExcellent food and service. I had a very nice juicy well seasoned Ribeye steak. (Perfect for mama) Hubby had king crab fried rice, crispy rice sushi and lobster bisque. The rest of the family also had what I was told amazing dishes and cocktails. This is a really great place and the staff are very nice. The bar seemed pretty busy. Lots of people celebrating birthdays. If you are looking for a nice date spot with good food and don't mind paying a little extra you can get a really amazing meal here.→

✨ HighlightHaving been here three times, Abe Fisher was a phenomenal experience each time, taking Jewish Ashkenazi food to unprecedented heights. I’m so sad they are closing. The menu during my last visit was the “Greatest Hits” menu. The service was incredible, Justin was the best waiter we ever had in Center City. We started off with the Roll Right In cocktail which was magical with the za’atar finish. Then the challah rolls came in with the spreads, each delicious. Then came the roasted sweet potatoes and the heirloom tomato caesar salad, both were very tasty. Then came the latke fries which are the best I’ve tried. Then came the veal schnitzel tacos which are some of the best tacos my gf and I have had in our lives. Finally, the short ribs arrived. What can I say? It’s perfect pastrami on another level. Unforgettable. Last came the desserts, of which my favorite was the bacon and egg cream. All in all, this spot will go down as one of the legendary places I’ve been to. The chefs behind the kitchen are truly some of the very best chefs in all of Philadelphia. Really sad they are closing. Apparently it’s due to marketing reasons as Abe Fisher’s sister restaurants Zahav and Laser Wolf are typically booked a month in advance where as Abe Fisher isn’t. The idea is to reopen Abe Fisher in a few years with the right timing so that it can be as busy as the sister restaurants. It’s all about timing really, as Abe Fisher opened too early and didn’t catch the heat from its subsequent sister restaurants. If I’m correct, then I can’t wait until the new Abe Fisher returns a few years later bringing back the Jewish Ashkenazi cuisine to the scene.→
