Excellent food and service. I had a very nice juicy well seasoned Ribeye steak. (Perfect for mama) Hubby had king crab fried rice, crispy rice sushi and lobster bisque. The rest of the family also had what I was told amazing dishes and cocktails. This is a really great place and the staff are very nice. The bar seemed pretty busy. Lots of people celebrating birthdays. If you are looking for a nice date spot with good food and don't mind paying a little extra you can get a really amazing meal here.
Three of us just finished a 4pm dinner reservation today. We ended up ordering apps, sushi, oysters and a soup. Ten dishes in all. The good: The food was quite good. Everything came out of the kitchen hot and well plated. The bad: They literally sent us all 10 dishes at once. Well nine, because the waiter couldn’t be bothered to write down our order and missed a dish. The ugly: The server from the kitchen scowling at us while we tried to make room for the ninth dish she had brought us in 3 minutes. Overall, it was fine, but the clear lack of interest from the serving staff and the utter disregard for our clear confusion and eventual displeasure at the situation left a bad taste in our mouths. Will not return.
We visited one final time before their planned closure at the end of the year. The space is still beautiful, but the entire experience was average at best. My NY strip arrived with a gigantic piece of visible fat running through the middle, was oddly raw in the center, and generally almost impossible to cut. They replace is with a more normal piece, but I can't say it was memorable. My wife's seafood was good, as was the king crab rice. Service was ok.
Our server Shakira was amazing although our food was not so much! My crab fried rice was a crazy disappointing as the rice was mushy. I’ll be back with reservation and greater expectations!!
