Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, named after Tanzania's third president, is the country's largest sports venue, with a capacity of 60,000. Opened in 2007, it features a distinctive roof covering all seats and state-of-the-art facilities. The stadium is the home ground for the Tanzania national football team and hosts international matches, athletics competitions, and large concerts by local and international artists.
