Masjid al-Haram, also known as the Grand Mosque, is the largest mosque in the world and the holiest site in Islam. Located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, it encompasses the Kaaba, the direction of prayer for Muslims worldwide. Pilgrims perform rituals such as Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Kaaba and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. The mosque's vast courtyards and intricate architecture accommodate millions during Hajj and Umrah. Its distinctive black-and-white marble floors, towering minarets, and the Kiswah-draped Kaaba create a profound spiritual atmosphere.
