The Pushkin Monument stands at the heart of Pushkin Square, a bustling hub where Tverskoy Boulevard meets the Garden Ring. The bronze statue depicts Alexander Pushkin in a contemplative pose, with his head slightly bowed and one hand resting on his chest. The pedestal is inscribed with lines from his poem 'I Have Built Myself a Monument.' The square itself is a lively pedestrian zone, surrounded by historic buildings, cafes, and theaters. Một chút lịch sử

Unveiled in 1880, the monument was the first in Russia dedicated to a poet rather than a ruler. It was funded by public subscription and designed by sculptor Alexander Opekushin. The statue survived the Soviet era and remains a cherished symbol of Russian culture.
