Al-Shaheed Monument, also known as the Martyr's Memorial, is a distinctive turquoise split-dome structure in Baghdad that honors Iraqi soldiers killed in the Iran-Iraq War. Visitors approach via a grand staircase to a platform featuring an eternal flame and a small museum documenting the conflict.
