Ankara Castle

Ankara Castle (Ankara Kalesi) is a fortified complex perched on a hill in the old Ulus district, with origins dating back to the Galatians and later expanded by Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. The castle consists of an inner and outer section, with walls built from volcanic stone and ancient ruins.
