Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park

Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park, also known as the Sun and Moon Pagodas, is a tranquil oasis in the heart of Guilin. The park centers on a lake where two distinctive pagodas stand, one made of bronze (the Sun Pagoda) and one of glass (the Moon Pagoda). The pagodas were built in 2001 as part of a cultural development project, inspired by traditional Tang Dynasty pagoda styles. They symbolize the harmony of yin and yang, with the bronze Sun Pagoda representing yang and the glass Moon Pagoda representing yin.
