✨ HighlightWe made a reservation and dined on the second floor in a private room. The atmosphere was fantastic, as our group could enjoy the meal in a separated and relaxed setting. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, even down to the sauces. We had a course meal, and everything was not only delicious but also beautifully and neatly presented. It was a stark contrast to some of the busier and less tidy motsunabe restaurants we’ve been to.→

✨ HighlightThere was a lot of hype about this place, so I tried booking about a month before our visit to Fukuoka, but couldn’t secure a reservation. We decided to take a chance and walk in. There was a line outside, and we were initially told the wait would be two hours. Fortunately, we got seated after just one hour. The wait was absolutely worth it—this might just be the best yakiniku spot in Fukuoka. The meat was of exceptional quality, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Most of the customers were Asian tourists. Surprisingly, it didn’t seem to be very popular among the locals. I still recommend Nikuichi. If you can book in advance, even better, but if not, it’s definitely worth the wait.→

✨ HighlightAlthough we had a miscommunication with our order, the English speaking waitress was able to correct the mistake. The broth was tasty and the noodles were chewy. ✨ HighlightSushi here is excellent‼️ I have been here twice for lunch, in 2015 and yesterday, and I'll come again in the future. It's a small shop with only 10 seats. Lunch course takes almost 2 hours for 10+ dishes. Every piece of sushi is a piece of art and it's so delicious. It may be a bit challenging for foreigners coz you need to book well in advance and most Japanese doesn't speak much English.→

✨ HighlightWe went here towards the end of our month-long trip to Japan. At that point we were a bit tired of Japanese food, so this was a welcome change of pace! But regardless, this was absolutely a 5-star experience in all ways. The food was delicious and fresh (we could see them cooking it behind the bar which was cool!), the service was attentive and personal, and the atmosphere was really really nice. It was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday night, which led to a nice intimate dining experience. Highly recommend!→
