There was a lot of hype about this place, so I tried booking about a month before our visit to Fukuoka, but couldn’t secure a reservation. We decided to take a chance and walk in. There was a line outside, and we were initially told the wait would be two hours. Fortunately, we got seated after just one hour. The wait was absolutely worth it—this might just be the best yakiniku spot in Fukuoka. The meat was of exceptional quality, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Most of the customers were Asian tourists. Surprisingly, it didn’t seem to be very popular among the locals. I still recommend Nikuichi. If you can book in advance, even better, but if not, it’s definitely worth the wait.
I recommend making a reservation for the restaurant as we noticed a long queue waiting for tables when we arrived. There are many meat options on the menu, but some were sold out since we arrived at 8 pm. The meats were excellent, especially the Wagyu; we loved it. The best part is that it is not expensive; definitely worth having dinner here if you want to enjoy some charcoal-grilled yakiniku.
Went here on the first night of our trip due to its hype and popularity only to end up with a tummy ache! We ordered the assorted meat and it was good however one of us started to get a tummy ache after and soon all of us started to get a tummy ache. Surely the cause is the beef because we did not eat anything else after 😓
A wonderful experience the food, the staff, the music all first class!!!! We had a wonderful time. The quality of the meat is outstanding and the staff are lovely.
