The Freedom Tower, located at 600 Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami, is a historic building that originally housed the Miami News & Metropolis newspaper. It gained fame in the 1960s as the Cuban Refugee Center, processing thousands of Cubans fleeing the Castro regime. Today, the tower is a National Historic Landmark and houses the Cuban American Museum, which preserves the history and contributions of Cuban exiles.
