Aslanhane Mosque, also called Arslanhane Mosque, is one of Ankara's oldest and most significant religious sites, dating back to the 13th century. Built during the Seljuk period, it stands in the Cankaya district, surrounded by the modern city. The mosque's name, meaning 'Lion's Den,' derives from a lion statue once housed here.
