✨ HighlightI have been on a mission to find a great BBQ in the DMV area, and my search continues. The service and atmosphere are excellent. I ordered brisket, pork ribs, beans, cornbread, sausage, and mac and cheese. The brisket fell apart beautifully but lacked flavor and was lukewarm. The pork ribs also looked appealing, though they were a bit salty and lukewarm. The beans were excellent, especially if you enjoy a Spanish-style preparation. The cornbread and mac and cheese earned a solid five stars from me. The sausage was just okay, and the BBQ sauce was also mediocre. I recommend that the restaurant keep the meat in the warmer until it’s ordered to prevent it from being served cold.→

Wish there was some spicy to go with all the sweet flavors. My one big complaint is regarding the dishware. A porkchop cannot be easily cut on the small, lightweight, rectangular plates. It is difficult to refrain from damaging the plate with a knife, as customers before me clearly struggled too. Please invest in larger ceramic plates!→

✨ HighlightFood was all smushed together in a take out container. Fish sauce was all over my yams and mac n cheese. Mac n cheese only has taste of flour and pepper. I'm Caribbean it's not even good macaroni pie. Corn bread is heavy and not good. My fiance had flavorless rice and beans, ribs and plantains were edible at best. Worst $45 spent. These 5-star reviews are lies→
