The Tomb of Khải Định is a striking royal mausoleum that fuses Vietnamese traditional elements with European Gothic and Romanesque styles. Visitors ascend steep steps through elaborate gateways to reach the main courtyard, where the Emperor's bronze statue stands. The interior dazzles with intricate glass and ceramic mosaics depicting dragons, phoenixes, and floral motifs, all set against dark concrete walls. This compact but richly decorated site offers a distinct contrast to other Nguyen dynasty tombs, reflecting the emperor's fascination with French culture.
