Forte de Santo Antonio Alem do Carmo is a well-preserved fortress located in the Santo Antonio neighborhood of Salvador, Bahia. Built in the 17th century by the Portuguese, it was part of the city's coastal defense system. Today, the fort offers visitors panoramic views of the Bay of All Saints and the Lower City. Inside, you'll find original cannons, thick stone walls, and a small museum displaying artifacts from the colonial era.
