Un peu d'histoire

Wahat Al Karama was inaugurated on November 25, 2016, by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It was built to commemorate the sacrifices of Emirati soldiers who died in the line of duty, including those in the Yemen conflict. The design by architect Idris Khan uses 31 leaning aluminum panels representing the unity of the nation.
