Leh Palace, built in the 17th century by King Sengge Namgyal, stands as a nine-story former royal residence atop a hill in Leh. Visitors can explore its crumbling corridors, ancient murals, and prayer rooms, while the rooftop provides sweeping vistas of the Indus Valley and the Stok Kangri range. Unlike the more ornate palaces of Rajasthan, this structure reflects Tibetan architectural influences, with thick walls and wooden balconies.
