Un peu d'histoire
Falaknuma Palace was built by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra, the Prime Minister of Hyderabad, in 1894. It was later purchased by the Nizam of Hyderabad and served as a royal guesthouse. After decades of neglect, the Taj Group restored it over 12 years, reopening as a hotel in 2010.
