Un peu d'histoire
Nankai University was established in 1919 by educators Yan Xiu and Zhang Boling. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, it was bombed and relocated to Kunming, merging with other universities to form Southwest Associated University. It returned to Tianjin after the war.
