Un peu d'histoire
The Nanjing City Wall was built in the 14th century under the Ming Dynasty's first emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang. Taicheng is a surviving section near Xuanwu Lake. The museum opened in the 2000s to preserve and interpret this heritage.
