Masjidil Haram, also known as the Grand Mosque, is the largest mosque in the world and the holiest site in Islam, located in the heart of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. At its center lies the Kaaba, a cube-shaped structure draped in black silk, towards which Muslims around the world pray. The mosque is a vast, open-air complex with multiple levels, minarets, and prayer halls that can accommodate up to four million worshippers during the Hajj pilgrimage.
